The workforce is an important arm in the economic industry. In fact, the entire industry is dependent on them. The provision of service is important because with no one to provide such service, transactions would never push through. It is then in order that being an important part in the industry that they fall under a protective clause, one which provides for the governance of their rights. This is the primary purpose of labor laws.
Labor laws provide precedence, administration, and the discussion of labor rights The concerns, rights and restrictions are provided under this branch of law. We all know that laws are provided in order to minimize chaos and to provide order. Labor laws are also laid down so as to avoid the exploitation of the workers as they are the moving force in the provision of the necessary service.
Among the many things which are provided under labor laws are the provisions of employment, minimum wage, the work hours, the workers' health and safety, and even the fact that one can not be terminated without so much as a legitimate grounds for such termination.
Falling under labor laws as well, are the laws on forming a union, parties and associations. Labor laws can be seen as way to protect the laborer's human rights, which are provided under the Constitution.
